Goran Bozic, DeCarice’s co-founder and CEO, embodies a rare blend of engineering expertise and strategic commercial acumen. Through DeCarice, Goran is championing a cleaner, more sustainable transition to a low carbon future by extending the lifespan of existing assets and minimising the environmental impact of the transition.

Having worked in the automotive and marine industries in Australia, the UK and Germany across engineering and commercial roles, Goran’s global business perspective fuels his commitment to driving DeCarice’s commercial and strategic vision.

CTO, Co-Founder

Professor Shawn Kook, DeCarice’s co-founder and CTO, brings his extensive global background in engineering research and innovation to the forefront of decarbonisation. As Director of the UNSW Engine Research Laboratory, he has led the development of combustion engine technologies across different sectors and fuels, including hydrogen.

Shawn’s academic and professional journey, including over 250 technical articles, more than $15M industry and government funding and numerous direct partnerships with global engine manufacturers, underpins DeCarice's technical direction.
